Description
The Sterile Processing Technician performs routine work in the decontamination, assembly, testing, and instruments in a medical facility, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Sterile Processing.

Required qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Vocational training in Sterile Processing, decontamination/sterilization procedures, supply distribution. Or related job experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical laboratory.
National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire or
National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.
Preferred qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Sterile Processing class, training, or vocational education.
